Parents are the backbone of CYT! Without them, CYT would not be the family-oriented organization that it is and could not produce the high-quality community shows that it does.
At least one parent of each student cast in the production must serve on a CYT Parent Committee. Options include, but are not limited to: costumes, props, greenroom, sets, front of house, public relations, meal and party, and tech.
Thank you for volunteering on a Parent Committee this CYT session. You will be working with parents and students of various ages and backgrounds who have one basic thing in common…they want to be involved in youth theater and they want to have fun while doing it!

Each chapter is managed by our Chapter Coordinator and Stage Manager. These people are your first responders for any issue or question you have or any problem that needs to be solved. All official class information will travel primarily through the Chapter Coordinator. All official communication about the show will travel primarily through the stage manager. You should receive weekly updates on both classes and productions to ensure that you are equipped with all the information necessary to have a successful session! If your cast member would like to receive these updates as well, please include his/her email on the CYT website.
