The basic definition of dance is "movements that match the speed and rhythm of the music" and there are different levels of training in dance that take us to new heights in our technical dance abilities. However, no matter if you consider yourself a beginner or advanced dancer, becoming a storyteller through dance is one of the most important parts of musical theater! In this class we will focus on how to be an actor through the art of dance allowing the movements of our body and the expressions of our face to create emotion and characterization with the goal of engaging the performers and the audience into a powerful story-telling experience!
